THE ORCHESTRA

Formed in 2026, Holland Park Sinfonia is a project-based orchestra based in London bringing together young talents—professionals, graduates, students, and more—for concerts, recordings, and collaborations to create an exceptional orchestral sound. They quickly established a name among the community after the inaugural concert for their unique virtuoso sound, passion, and performance.

Founded by conductor and arranger Jashandeep Reehal, the orchestra works with the aim of exploring the unique sound of the old studio ensembles—from the silent films to the golden age of Hollywood to Broadway and classical repertoire. With every music, they try to break it down to its depth, focusing on the concept of sound—what made the studio orchestras sound as distinct as they did. The unique expressive string techniques and active playing from the players are at the heart of what the orchestra does.

They made their concert debut in February 2026, performing music by the likes of Korngold and Steiner, composers whose works reflect that very sound, and they plan to perform and record more works from these composers and their counterparts.
